At Northwest Regional ESD, we are committed to supporting the professional growth and development of educators across our region. Our nationally recognized professional learning team guides networks of educators through a continuous improvement process designed to advance individual practice and transform our educational system. All of our professional learning networks are connected by a common focus on equity and culturally sustaining pedagogy. We work with educator teams to map and disrupt systemic barriers that have historically excluded students, particularly students of color or those experiencing poverty.

Our vision is to create networks that facilitate deep, meaningful learning and advance principles of educational equity so that all of our students experience personal and academic success. Our Continuous Improvement process follows the Improvement Science model outlined by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, enhanced by equity-centered design thinking. Through a focus on improving our educational system, we believe we can improve the experience and outcomes for both educators and the students they serve.
