Levi Anderson Learning Center is a therapeutic school setting dedicated to supporting students with behavioral and mental health needs. Students receive a structured, supportive environment that prioritizes both academic achievement and personal growth. 

Personalized Learning - Making Connections

The school is set on a spacious campus and structured to provide students with a setting that mirrors a traditional educational environment but with enhanced support systems. Small class sizes and increased staff-to-student ratios allow for more personalized instruction and greater access to academic and behavioral support. Students are able to earn credits at an accelerated pace, including opportunities for credit recovery, helping them stay on track toward graduation.

Tailored Programming to Support Individual Needs

Students are referred by local school districts and state or private child welfare agencies. The majority of the students have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and benefit from tailored interventions to support their unique learning and behavioral needs, including a Behavior Support Plan and Assessment Planning Tool.

Mental Health Case Managers work with the students individually to provide Individual Counseling at least 2 hours a month and create an individualized treatment plan to guide mental health services, behavior support, and social-emotional skill building.

All students at Levi Anderson all work with an assigned designated staff member to engage in weekly Individual Skills Training and daily Group Skills Training. These skills training sessions are based on evidenced based curriculum to help students with their social-emotional skills and prepare for future
success.

A Collaborative Approach

 Levi Anderson uses the Collaborative Problem-Solving (CPS) model to teach kids the skills they can grow in, reduce challenging behaviors, and foster healthy relationships with adults in their lives while learning to critically problem solve.

In Partnership with Families

Families are an essential part of our therapeutic approach. We offer family counseling to those who are interested and actively collaborate with outside resources and services to create a cohesive support system for each student.
