About Us
Young children from birth to 5 are learning and developing at a rapid pace; they are learning faster than they will at any other time in their lives. It is our responsibility as a community to ensure the experiences a child has during those years create a strong foundation for future success.
The Northwest Early Learning Hub works to ensure that young children and their families in Clatsop, Columbia and Tillamook counties have the resources and support to thrive. We are educators, health care providers, community advocates, program providers and businesses who believe we can do more for our communities together than we can on our own.
We find new and innovative ways to partner with communities to support families and create more opportunities for children to be kindergarten ready. Some of our key activities include:
- making high quality preschool more accessible to families experiencing poverty
- providing opportunities for families and schools to connect before kindergarten
- supporting parents to be their children's first and best teacher
- improving receipt of services for young children at risk of developmental and behavioral delay
We provide resources and tools for parents with children from birth through age 5. We offer resource guides by county, information on kindergarten registration and updates about state and regional early learning initiatives.
