Families Receiving Regional Inclusive Services: You're Invited to The FLIP Museum
All families with children ages 3-21 who receive regional inclusive services from our agency are invited to attend a free, accessible private event on Saturday, May 30 at The FLIP Museum in downtown Hillsboro.

Canvas Security Incident: Information for Families and School Districts
Canvas is a web-based learning management system, or LMS. It is used by educators and students to access and manage online learning materials and communicate about assignments and progress. Canvas’s parent company, Instructure, recently confirmed that it experienced a security breach.

Outdoor School Funding Update: See What’s Changing Following 20% Statewide Reduction in Funding

Rikkie Schley Named Early Learning Director
Rikkie Schley has nearly 15 years of experience in special education and rehabilitation services as an administrator and speech-language pathologist. The purpose of the role is to provide more consistent and cohesive services to the 2,500 babies, toddlers and preschoolers in our programs.

Laurel Fischer Named Program Administrator Overseeing ORTII and Early Literacy Supports
Laurel brings 18 years of experience in elementary education and literacy leadership to the role. Since 2023, she has advised 19 school districts on their literacy instruction -- teaching educators about how kids actually learn to read and then helping them assess their progress.
