Educators and community partners are invited to attend our 2026 School Safety and Mental Health Summit on Jan. 14. This year's event will be virtual and is open to all school staff and community partners in Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook and Washington counties. Participants can earn up to 6 PDUs.

Every spring, the budget committee meets to take a close look at NWRESD’s proposed budget. After completing its review, the committee forwards a recommended budget to the NWRESD Board of Directors for final approval. Apply by Dec. 29.

This week, state economists released a slightly more hopeful picture of Oregon’s economic landscape: the budget deficit projected this August, perhaps isn’t as bad as once thought. But, we must remain resolute in protecting investments in our school systems.

All families who are receiving services from our agency are invited to celebrate the holidays with us on Dec. 12. The festivities will take place from 5-7:30 p.m. at our Washington Service Center in Hillsboro. We'll enjoy an evening of fun, crafts and food. Dinner will be provided.
