  • I'd like to volunteer. How can I get involved?

    Thanks so much for your interest in volunteering with the Northwest Regional Education Service District Foundation.

    Current volunteer opportunities include:

    Board of Directors Position

    • Time commitment: 25-30 hours a year
    • Meeting frequency: 4-5 times a year

    Fundraising Committee Position

    • Time commitment: 15-20 hours a year
    • Meeting frequency: 3-4 times per year

    Ad Hoc Volunteer Position

    • Time commitment: Depends on task but is usually short-term

    There are many ways to support students through the Northwest Regional Education Service District Foundation. You can:

  • When does the application window open for 2025-26 grants?

    The grant application window will be open from Oct. 20 through Nov. 14. We will announce the awardees on Feb. 19. Read about the projects that received grant funding in 2024-25. 

  • Who is eligible for a Northwest Regional ESD Foundation grant?

    NWRESD and component district staff working with young children and students with disabilities and those who are at risk, birth to age 21, in Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook and Washington counties.
  • What types of projects does the Northwest Regional ESD Foundation fund?

    The Northwest Regional ESD Foundation funds special projects, parent/caregiver training, and requests for equipment and supplies. Projects must have a direct impact on students and/or families.

    Funding categories include:

    • Birth to Age 5 Special Education
    • Early Learning and Kindergarten Readiness
    • English Language Learners and Migrant Education
    • School‐Age Special Education 
    • Regional Inclusive Services (Autism Spectrum Disorder, Blind/Visually Impaired, DeafBlind, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Orthopedically Impaired, Traumatic Brain Injury) 
  • How much can I apply for?

    Grant amounts range from $100 to $2,500.
