The ESD will maintain a comprehensive safety program for all employees and students. This program will include a plan for responding to emergency situations. Copies of the Emergency Plan will be available in the ESD office, and other strategic locations throughout the ESD. The ESD shall provide instruction to staff and students in the emergency plan and safety program.{ ¹ } In each ESD facility, procedures for handling health emergencies will be established and made known to staff. Each ESD facility and ESD vehicle will be equipped with appropriate first-aid supplies and equipment. All employees are expected to know where first-aid supplies and equipment are kept in their work areas. At least one staff member with a current first-aid/CPR card shall be available in all ESD-operated facilities.
