Cascade Alliance for Equity Spring Summit
April 29 | Portland Community College - Rock Creek Campus

Forest Grove students lead a session about how to expand leadership opportunities for students.
At our Fall 2025 CAFE Summit, student voice was powerful. “Equality is good,” Luz, a junior at Forest Grove High School says. “But equity is greater.”
This spring, we’re giving the floor once again to those who know schools best: Students!
- Hear directly from culturally diverse student leaders and equity-focused clubs.
- Explore what’s working and what needs to change.
- Gain fresh perspectives to inform your work and create more equitable schools.
The event will be held at the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation Center at Portland Community College's Rock Creek Campus (17705 NW Springville Rd, Portland, OR 97229). The event is free and open to students, educators and community partners. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
