In partnership with Hillsboro Parks & Recreation Hidden Creek staff, our Hillsboro Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education teams are hosting free sensory playtimes this spring for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Children will have the chance to explore a variety of active and calming sensory activities, including toys, lights, games and fidgets.

These playtimes are designed to give children a safe, welcoming space to lead their own play while early learning staff connect with families, answer their questions about developmental milestones, and share information about available supports and services.

About the playtimes:

• Open to children ages 0–5
• A parent or guardian must attend and remain with their child at all times (no drop-offs)
• Held from 9–11 a.m. on Mondays: Jan. 12, Feb. 9, March 9, April 13, May 11, and June 8
• Hosted at the Hidden Creek Community Center located at 5100 NE Hidden Creek Drive Hillsboro, Oregon 97124
