As we settle into fall, I’ve been reflecting on how much joy and growth this season brings for our children and families. There’s something special about this time of year — the cozy routines, the excitement of learning new things, and the small moments of connection that remind us how quickly our little ones are growing. Our early learning team is so grateful to walk alongside you during this part of your child’s journey.

In this month’s newsletter, you’ll find updates and resources to support you through the busy months ahead — from school pictures and helpful tips for navigating the holidays with young children to community opportunities like the FLIP Museum in Hillsboro and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. You’ll also read about how our teams are deepening their commitment to belonging — the NWRESD way — so that every child and family feels truly seen and supported wherever they learn and play.

Al adentrarnos en el otoño, he estado reflexionando sobre la gran alegría y el crecimiento que esta estación trae para nuestros niños y familias. Hay algo especial en esta época del año: las rutinas acogedoras, la emoción de aprender cosas nuevas y los pequeños momentos de conexión que nos recuerdan lo rápido que crecen nuestros pequeños. Nuestro equipo de Aprendizaje Temprano está muy agradecido de acompañarlos durante esta etapa del desarrollo de sus hijos.
