In today’s climate of rising safety concerns, increasing violence, and growing social and political polarization, schools face mounting challenges in protecting both the physical and emotional well-being of students and staff.
Our annual School Safety and Mental Health Summit brings together school staff and community partners in a free virtual event focused on learning, collaboration, and strategies for building safer, more supportive school communities.
We’re seeking presentation and workshop proposals that highlight effective approaches to fostering safe, healthy, and connected school communities. Areas of focus may include emergency and crisis preparedness, staff wellness and resilience, family and community engagement, effective partnerships with community mental health and first responders, supporting students with specific mental health diagnoses, and meeting the needs of underserved students. Join us in sharing strategies, research, and resources that strengthen safety, equity, and resilience within our communities.
Please see below for more information about this year's summit and instructions about submitting a short proposal. The deadline for proposals is Nov. 21.
