This collaborative is the third in a series of three professional learning and collaboration sessions that will focus on Behavior, Attendance, & Social Emotional Systems (BASES) through an MTSS lens with a focus on Tier 1. Some of the topics that will be covered throughout the series include:
- Culturally responsive and sustaining practices that support historically marginalized students
- Tools, reports, and templates for collecting and analyzing attendance, SEL, and behavior data
- Oregon’s new Transformative SEL framework and incorporating these practices across academic disciplines
- Policies and discipline practices impacting behavior, attendance, and school culture
- Meeting structures for attendance and behavior support teams
- Strategies for responding to and preparing for expected and unexpected events (e.g., the election)

The content of this session will mirror the content of the Hillsboro Collaborative #3 session, and teams should plan to attend only one session for each part. If you would prefer to attend Collaborative #3 in Hillsboro on March 12 instead, please register here.
Collaborative #3 will focus on meeting structures, norms, practices, and routines for attendance, SEL, and behavior support teams, assessing school and district Tier 1 systems, and planning system changes for 2026-27, all through a lens of culturally responsive and sustaining practices.
These sessions are designed to be most helpful when attended by a team of people from a district or school; we have time scheduled throughout the day to process content and look at school/district data, and we strongly encourage registrants to attend with at least one district or school teammate. However, we will intentionally group those who are unable to attend with a team.
