Our research, assessment and evaluation team helps educators in our region use data to improve outcomes for students, especially those who have been historically pushed to the margins. We do this by making sure educators have access to quality data and training. 

We see high-quality data as an integral part of our continuous improvement process. We are committed to data quality and ensuring our decisions are grounded in the best possible information about program and student-level outcomes.

 

MTSS Support

We offer coaching to districts in our region on setting up and running multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) at a school- or district-level. We also provide technical support on using MTSS Systems. 

Oregon Schools Data Dashboard

We also host the Oregon Schools Data Dashboard, which allows you to look at data for any school district in Oregon.

The dashboard includes nine focus areas. These include student and federal program demographics; regular attender data; English language arts and mathematics state assessment scores; 9th grade on track, four year graduation and five year high school completer numbers and employment projections.

MTSS System Introduction

  • Date: 08/27/2025 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM  

The RAE team will be hosting two sessions to introduce the NWRESD MTSS System to new staff in participating districts. These sessions will provide an overview of the system’s core features, with a focus on the Reading and Attendance domains. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of how to navigate and use the system to support their work. Each session will include time for Q&A.

Session Dates:

  • August 27 from 3:00 to 4:00 PM

  • September 8 from 3:30 to 4:30 PM

Please note: Both sessions will cover the same content. Attendees only need to attend one session.
