This workshop is designed for kit users to become familiar with the materials before checking out. However, it is not required to participate in the workshop.

Currently, we only have the construction-themed career kit but a generalized career kit is underway. The kit is designed with early elementary students in mind. It contains six lessons total, each with a corresponding children's book and hands-on activity. NWRESD provides all of the supplies to run the lessons (minus classroom copies of handouts). The kits for each lesson is organized in a large, rolling bin that the educator holds on to until they are done teaching the curriculum. Additionally, you can view the lesson content and provided materials can be found on this document. 

Participants can expect: 

• To see & interact with kit contents

• A collaborative space to ask questions and/or brainstorm integration 

• If you'd like to walk away with a kit from the library, please complete this Google check out form IN ADDITION to the registration for this workshop

  • Limited quantities available and delivered on a first come, first basis. Demand will determine the check out time frame. Encouraged time frame: ~6-8 weeks
